The Service Supervisor is pivotal as the team leader, overseeing 5-15 technicians to guarantee superior customer service. This position involves collaborating closely with the Service Dispatcher and/or Service Advisor, handling a range of responsibilities that include managing incoming calls, generating quotations and estimates, managing work orders, dispatching Field Service Technicians, assigning tasks to Shop Technicians, and providing training and mentorship to less experienced technicians, among other unspecified duties.



- Coaching and guiding Service Department employees

- Monitoring, enhancing, and sustaining Technician performance

- Ensuring efficient job planning, including accurate quoting, parts availability, and workforce allocation

- Addressing and resolving customer objections and concerns effectively

- Maintaining open communication with customers, updating them on repair status as needed

- Overseeing customer satisfaction and employee morale, implementing improvements as necessary

- Reducing customer downtime through precise and efficient job planning and execution

- Facilitating clear and effective communication within the company

- Allocating tasks to Shop Technicians and coordinating the dispatch of Field Service Technicians

Education

Required

High School or Equivalent or better.

Preferred

High School or Equivalent or better in General Studies.

Experience

Required

Experience working as a Service Technician preferred. Experience using personal computers including Microsoft Word and Excel and basic typing skills are required for this position.
